Your Asset was appointed to undertake an asset capture and verification programme covering flood defence infrastructure and pumping stations across Wyre County Council’s area.
The project required the identification and verification of critical flood defence and pumping station assets, providing the Council with accurate information on asset types, locations and associated equipment to support ongoing maintenance and operational management.
Your Asset carried out detailed onsite surveys, capturing maintainable assets and recording relevant information, including asset descriptions, locations, equipment details and identification information. Point cloud imagery was also captured to provide a visual record of assets and their surrounding environments.
Existing CAD plans were overlaid with the captured asset information to identify and clearly demonstrate the location of underground pipework and associated infrastructure, providing the Council with improved visibility of assets that cannot be seen during routine site inspections.
The asset information was structured within vendor software, providing a centralised digital platform for accessing asset information and locations. This enables maintenance teams to quickly identify assets and supporting information, even when they are not physically at the site.
Results
Your Asset delivered a verified asset register covering flood defence and pumping station assets across the Council’s area, including above-ground equipment and underground pipework.
The project provided Wyre County Council with improved asset visibility, supporting maintenance planning, operational response and future asset management. The combination of verified asset data, CAD overlays, point cloud imagery and visual records provides a reliable digital baseline for managing critical flood defence infrastructure.
